A Haunting at Dead Man’s Cove is a fun, easy to run one-shot adventure for character levels 3-4
The Dead Man’s Cove has always been a raucous and lively dockside tavern, until tonight. Its owner, Amaro Drake, has fled into the fog night after a violent supernatural attack. Ghostly pirates have overtaken the place and are demanding the return of a stolen amulet. Now, Amaro offers a reward to anyone brave enough to enter the haunted tavern and banish the spirits before dawn.
But what Amaro hasn’t said is that these aren’t just any ghosts, they’re Amaro’s former crewmates, betrayed by him decades ago for treasure and glory. Their leader, Bronn, seeks revenge and the return of his enchanted amulet. Amaro insists that the worthless amulet rightfully belongs to him, but he seems to be hiding something. If any who take up this task want to survive the night, they’ll need to uncover the truth, confront the past, and decide who truly deserves to rest in peace.
